Oppna Digital and Mapped in at the NRF BIG SHOW 2020!

NRF or the National Retail Federation hosts one of the biggest retail shows of the year, lovingly called NRF’s *big show*. This year’s event is being held in New York on 1/14/2020 and will feature an amazing list of speakers, technology, and attendees. Oppna Digital will be displaying our work at two booths this year, one at MAPPEDIN, and the other with TDXtech.
These two partners have been a great asset for Oppna Digital and we’re excited to have a chance to work with them on displaying our technology and products together. Visit our partners at booths 1137 and 410.

Oppna Digital recently worked with Mappedin on a customer-facing digital wayfinding kiosk for Saks On Fifth Avenue. This interactive system was critical for showcasing the destinations 10, yes I said ten floors of clothing and designers. From the outside the destination appears to only have 3 floors, confusing many customers.  From specific designers to the types of clothing guests are looking for, the digital wayfinding kiosks provided an opportunity to enhance the guest experience. This heightened experience not only provides guests with a fast track to where they’re going but also creates important analytics for usage by Saks on Fifth Avenue. From demographics to section popularity and even time on site, these analytics are key to not only the retailer but also improving the guest experience and removing pain points, increasing conversions and making it easier to navigate and interact with the destination.

Guests can take their wayfinding experience one step further with personalized directions sent right to their mobile phone. This omnichannel approach is at the heart of Oppna Digitals’ solution and provides a personalized approach to communicating with guests and their experience. Guests can view the destination from the comfort of their couches at home on their computers and plan out their visit or they can jump right into the experience first hand and use the on-location kiosks to find new designers and clothing right there. This personalized channel approach is a key facet for collecting analytics as well. Giving the most popular routes and searches as well as device information for content management uses.

Between the various content and indoor mapping systems employed through different channels, Saks on Fifth Avenue is ready to leap into the future and present guests with an experience fit for its name.

You can find the Saks Fifth Avenue Experience on display at Booth 1137, we look forward to seeing you there!
